Here is my latest poem.
It has a few of my new favorite words in it.
Google them if you need definitions.
I think This poem sounds best when read out loud.
Harken back to days of sunshine, Supergirl.
With weekend pack, around rocks we watch water curl.
Rain runs down and kissing the ground, rolls in lucullan grass.
Cardiac shards, darkened black, as sutures unfurl.
I've longed so long for sweet amnesia,
As victim of plosive somesthesia.
I am not weak as I've been made to feel.
Though feeling bleak, I do well, as a burning field.
If this loves' feeling is truly forgone,
why is it, for me, to best sleep with lights on?
